(OCEAN PINES & FEDERALSBURG, MARYLAND) - Alan Downes of Ocean Pines, Maryland, recently received Dale Carnegie’s "Outstanding Performance" award in an "Effective Communications & Human Resources" 12-week course held at the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented by a vote of Alan's fellow class members, recognizing leadership in competitive spirit and determination for self-improvement.
A previous Revenue Officer for the Internal Revenue Service of the US Treasury Department, Downes has been with Tri Gas & Oil for more than four years. After receiving an Associates degree in Business Administration from Burlington Community College in Pemberton, New Jersey, Downes went on to receive a BS in Human Resources and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Wilmington University in Delaware. He represents Tri Gas & Oil with membership to the Credit Research Foundation and the National Association of Credit Management, attending three conferences annually.
