Tri Gas & Oil's Driven to Find a Cure campaign began in 2008, with proceeds from the company's propane sales donated to help end breast cancer forever through Komen for the Cure. More than $13,000 was donated by Tri Gas & Oil in 2009, with an additional $17,500 donated in 2008 from the many vendors and manufacturers who helped build the signature truck. Coined by Tri Gas employees as the Pink Lady, the truck was driven by Petroleum Manager Troy Harrison and took second place for best commercial unit in the Preston Parade. Sales of t-shirts and replica, die-cast miniatures of the truck also benefit Tri Gas & Oil's fundraising campaign. To purchase a miniature or for more information, visit one of Tri Gas & Oil's Delmarva locations, email or call 800-638-7802.
